Medeama SC have ended their relationship with goalkeeper Frank Boateng after a disappointing season.
The contract termination comes after the Goalkeeper’s childish and suspicious howler gave Hearts of Oak a commanding 3-0 win in the MTN FA Cup semifinals clash on Sunday at the Cape Coast Stadium.
It is reported that the Mauve and Yellows are not pleased with the performance of the former Ashantigold custodian who joined the club from the Miners prior to the start of the 2020-21 football season after ending his three years stay in Obuasi and has abrogated his contract after 10 months of joining the club.
The 27-year-old goalie featured 18 times for the Tarkwa-based club in all competitions this season and picked the ball in his net 15 times with many errors which cost the club dearly.
Ghanasportspage.com understands that the Tarkwa-based club will undergo serious scrutiny in the coming days with heads expected to roll.
