Ghana’s representative in the 2018/2019 CAF Confederations Cup competition, Kumasi Krobea Asante Kotoko will depart Ghana for Kenya on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at midday.
The 30-man contingent made of 18 players will be accompanied by the 9 other players who have been left at home to the Kotoka International Airport in Accra, and will return to Kumasi with the team bus after the team takes off.
The team has been penned to lodge at the City Lodge Hotel in Nairobi where the senior national team Black Stars based before their shocking 1-0 defeat to the Harambee Stars of Kenya in the 2019 AFCON group F fixture.
Asante Kotoko, who according to reports will receive financial backing from the Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association in their continental campaign, will face Kenya’s Kariobangi Sharks in their Confederations Cup opener on Saturday December 15, 2018 at the Kasarani stadium, Kenya.
