Kenyan Premier League giant Kariobangi Sharks have gladly thanked former star striker George Abege “for his dedicated service and the professionalism he displayed” during his time with the Nairobi based club, after the striker completed a move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Tuesday.
Abege completed a quick move to Ghanaian football giants Asante Kotoko on a three years deal on Tuesday, having enjoyed a successful stint with the Sharks.
The arrival of the Ugandan forward is a boost to the Porcupine Warriors attack ahead of their Champions League campaign which commences in early August. Kariobangi Sharks, who described Asante Kotoko as “our friends”, took to their official Facebook page to express their gratitude to their once number one striker for his great service to the Sharks during his time, and have wished him well to succeed with the record Ghana league champions.
