Ghana’s U23 side the Black Meteors a set to assemble on Wednesday, 7th August at the M Plaza Hotel in Accra to begin preparations ahead of their U23 Championship qualifier against Algeria.
Ghana will host Algeria U23 side at the Accra sports stadium in the first leg on September 5th before flying to Algeria four days later for the second leg tie.
Ghana edged out Gabon in the preliminary stage in a 4-0 aggregate win to set up the clash with Algeria. Winner in the clash between Meteors and Algeria over the two-legged fixture will qualify to participate in the 2019 Africa U23 Cup of Nations to be staged in Egypt between 8-22 November this year.
Coach Ibrahim Tanko has invited 24-man squad to assemble on Wednesday to prepare for the crucial encounter, the names which include the following:
