The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee (NC) has opened the processes for application for media Accreditation to all media houses wishing to cover the most awaited event which is set to take place in Accra.
The GFA Extra-Ordinary session of Congress has been slated for Thursday, 5th September, 2019 at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ridge, Accra.
The Congress, which will be first of it’s kind post Number 12 Expose documentary by Tiger Eye PI last year, comes off in pursuant to Article 23.5.1 of the GFA Statutes with the agenda of reviewing and adopting the proposed GFA Statutes, as well as adoption of the GFA Regulations on Elections of the GFA President and members of the Executive Committee.
The GFA-NC has released a statement announcing the application process for media accreditation for the expectant event.
“The Ghana Football Association is pleased to announce that the application process for media accreditation for the upcoming Extraordinary Congress of the GFA on September 5th, 2019 at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Ridge, Accra is now open”, the statement read.
The interim football governing body in the country has directed applicants to submit their applications to a designated email before or latest by the close working hours (6:00pm) on August, 26, 2019.
“Media organizations interested in covering the Congress can officially apply for accreditation by sending a request to ([email protected]) with names of designated journalists”, it directed.
According to the organizers, journalists representing TV stations will be allocated 3 accreditation tags, while radio stations, print and online media will be entitled to only one (1) accreditation tag each.
