The Black Stars B brushed Bibiani based Gold Stars aside with 6-0 victory in a friendly match on Thursday afternoon as part of their preparations for next month 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Burkina Faso.
Coach Maxwell Konadu’s side recorded an emphatic 6-0 victory over the division one side on Thursday in a keenly contested encounter. Asante Kotoko’s Richard Arthur grabbed the first of the afternoon in the early minutes of the first half, followed by one goal each from Emmanuel Gyamfi and Augustine Okrah, making it 3-0 in the second half.
New Edubiase striker Prince Opoku climbed off the bench to grab a brace, one being a penalty as well as a superb long range strike from Ashantigold midfielder Appiah McCarthy.
The team will continue their preparations with yet another friendly match on Saturday against division one side Asokwa Deportivo.
