Black Stars B coach Maxwell Konadu has named his starting line up against Gambia for Ghana’s tournament opener in the ongoing 2019 WAFU tournament in Senegal.
Maxwell Konadu led Ghana to win their second WAFU cup in 2017 after whipping Nigeria in the final, and are set to begin the title defence against Gambia on Tuesday evening.
Medeama SC goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi starts in goal with Karela United’s Moro Ibrahim and Hearts of Oak’s Fatawu Mohammed deployed for the left and right full back roles respectively.
Issaka Mohammed and Hearts of Oak’s star defender Mohammed Alhassan have been assigned to the centre back roles to complete the back four for the crucial game.
