Ghana Black Stars B defender Moro Ibrahim has been ruled out of the semi final match between Ghana and Ivory Coast on Tuesday in the ongoing WAFU tournament in Senegal.
The Karela United left back picked up an injury while playing for the Black Stars B in the quarter final of WAFU tournament against Burkina Faso. The dependable defender was replaced by Patrick Yeboah of Asante Kotoko fame and has been racing against time to recover.
“Everyone is fine in camp except Moro Ibrahim who got injured in the match against Burkina Faso”, Richmond Opoku Afriyie, Media Officer of the team confirmed in an interview with Fox FM. “Moro Ibrahim will not play against Ivory Coast, he was replaced by Patrick Yeboah against Burkina Faso and he has not been passed fit for today’s (Tuesday) game”, he added.
