Black Meteors coach Ibrahim Tanko has named his squad to begin camping for the preparations towards the CAF U-23 Total Africa Cup of Nations tournament which is scheduled for next month in Egypt.
The Black Meteors were drawn in group A against host nation Egypt, Cameroon and Mali for the tournament which will also serve as qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Pending official release of the full squad, foxfmonline.com can confirm the inclusion of two Asante Kotoko players in Tanko’s squad.
Former Black Starlets shot stopper Ibrahim Danlad has been handed a call up to the U-23 squad as well as team mates Kwame Baah as the two goalkeepers named in the squad.
