Head coach of the national under 23 side Black Meteors, Ibrahim Tanko has invited 18-man squad to begin a residential camping at the M-Plaza Hotel in Accra ahead of their nations Cup tournament in Egypt next month.
The team will begin camping at the M-Plaza Hotel on Friday with training scheduled to take place at the El Wak stadium. The tournament has been scheduled to take place in Egypt between November 8th and 22nd, and will also serve as qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games which will produce three teams for the three slots available to Africa.
As reported earlier today by foxfmonline.com, two goalkeepers from Asante Kotoko Ibrahim Danlad and Kwame Baah made the squad along with Hearts Oak’s number one, Richmond Ayi to complete the goalkeeping slot.

All the 18 players are locally based and coach Ibrahim Tanko, along with his assistant Michael Osei are expecting additional call ups in the coming days. Meanwhile, the foreign based players who have been handed call ups are expected to join the team on 20th October, 2019.
Ghana has been drawn in group A alongside Egypt, Cameroon and Mali.
