The CAF Confederation Cup playoff first leg between Ghana’s Asante Kotoko and FC San Pedro of Ivory Coast which was abandoned after first half on Sunday due to heavy downpour, will continue today at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
Based on advice from the Ghana Meteorological office, both Kotoko and FC San Pedro have agreed to play the remaining 45 minutes at 2:00pm to avoid being disturbed by the rains.
With only 45 minutes left to be played, the ticket prices have been drastically slashed down to enable supporters move to the stadium in numbers as they support their teams to battle for an advantageous results ahead of the second leg scheduled for November 3.
The popular stand which sold for GHC15 on Sunday is now going for GHC5, while the centre line section has also been reduced from GHC20 to GHC5 as well.
The VIP seats which earlier sold at GHC50 is now selling at GHC10. This is to compensate the fans and to help the fans to troop to the stadium in their numbers to support their teams.
