Ghana premier league side Inter Allies have confirmed the appointment of Tony Lokko as the new head coach of the club ahead of the new league season.
The Tema based club announced the return of the former Berekum Chelsea coach who is not new to the club having coached them in the past.
Lokko replaces former Asante Kotoko, Accra Hearts of Oak gaffer, Paa Kwasi Fabin who left the club recently after short stint when negotiations to sign official contract with the club broke down.
Technical Director of Allies, Willie Klutse confirmed the news the club’s official site.
“I would like to welcome Tony Lokko as the new head coach for the upcoming season.”
“After meeting with Management, we decided that Lokko was the right fit for the club’s philosophy and to continue building what we have started, he said.”
Lokko’s return means Inter Allies now has lots of experience on their technical bench, taking into consideration the experience of the coach during his days with premier league clubs like Accra Hearts of Oak, Heart of Lions, Amidaus Professionals and Tema Youth.
