Asante Kotoko newly appointed head coach Maxwell Konadu has confirmed that he will be introducing Abdulahi Gazale as his first assistant coach having taken over the coaching job of the Porcupine Warriors.
Maxwell Konadu, after signing two years deal with Kotoko on Monday stated, that no one will lose his job in the existing technical team of Kotoko as a result of his appointment, but confirmed he will make Gazale, a holder of a CAF Licence A coaching certificate his first assistant coach as a form of boost to the technical bench.
It is now worthnoting, that Abdulahi Gazele is now the first assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, while now caretaker Johnson Smith, who holds a CAF Licence B certificate has been moved to be the second assistant coach.
On the other hand, coach Akakpo Patron whose contract as assistant coach for the senior team has run out, will be moved to head the Youth team as head coach to help in developing the young talents for the club.
