Ashantigold SC have confirmed the return of centre back Richard Osei Agyemang to training after suffering an injury in their league opener against Accra Great Olympics.
The former Berekum Chelsea, Asante Kotoko defender has struggled with knee injury in last year during the club’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign, but recovered to feature for the club against Great Olympics in a 3-0 victory on match day one. He picked up a knock in the match against Olympics which ruled him out of the club’s match day two fixture away to King Faisal at the Baba Yara sports stadium.
Osei Agyemang joined the group on Tuesday at the Len Clay stadium for training as they prepare for their week four league fixture against Tachiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday.
The defender is likely to feature against Eleven Wonders if his fitness proves appreciative to the technical handlers of the club at training on Wednesday.
