Asante Kotoko have confirmed their Ghana Premier League (GPL) week 12 fixture against Bechem United will be played on Friday night at the Accra sports stadium. The match will be played at 7:00pm under flood lights.
Asante Kotoko’s request to play the remainder of their matches for the current campaign at the Accra sports stadium was approved by the National Sports Stadium (NSA) including their request to play some of their matches under flood light.
The decision comes following the closure of the Baba Yara sports stadium to its users to pave way for renovation, a development work which is already under way.
The GFA’s Competition Department accepted Kotoko’s request upon the approval by the NSA. According to the GFA, “All stakeholders have been duly informed by the date and venue for the match accordingly”.
