After several shocking upsets that saw big clubs exit the competition at the early stage, clubs that made the round of 32 stage will know their opponents today when the live draw is conducted at the M Plaza Hotel at 11:00am in Accra.
Following the shocking exit of premier league clubs like Asante Kotoko, Aduana Stars, Berekum Chelsea, Karela United at the round of 64 stage, 11 premier league clubs, 17 Division One clubs and four (4) Division Two clubs secured a ticket to the round of 32 stage of the competition.
For the purposes of proximity, the competition’s management committee decided to group the qualified clubs into zones depending on where the clubs are based in the country.
The clubs have been grouped into three zones – Zone 1-3 depending on the location of the clubs withing the national zoning.
