Premier League side Inter Allies have announced the signing of former Ghana U-23 shot stopper Rashid Seidu on a short term deal.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalie completed his move to the Tema based club on a short term deal till the end of the season.
“Inter Allies have successfully secured the signature of goalkeeper Rashid Seidu on a short term deal till the end of the season”, the club announced on its website on Wednesday.
Rashid Seidu featured for the Black Meteors of Ghana (U-23) during the 2015 African Games in Brazzaville, Congo. Rashid would have to beat off competition from the already three goalkeepers of the Carpeli boys namely; Gideon Ahenkora, George Apronti and Augustus Ofori Nyarko.
He spoke to the club’s official website after signing his contract, expressing his delight for joining and enumerating what he intends to achieve during his stay at the club.
‘It’s a great honour to join the this great club. I’m here to offer my best efforts to help the team and to improve as a player as well. Also, I want leave a very good mark during my stay at the club and enjoy my career with the lads and everyone at Inter Allies FC”, he outlined.
With football currently suspended in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rashid will join his teammates to kick off his career at the club when football resumes.
