The stoppage of the Belgian championship crowned Club Bruges for the 16th time in its history. The information fell earlier in the evening after a vote at the Pro League general assembly.
The classification was therefore definitively stopped after 29 days. Another consequence of this decision, the Waasland-Beveren club is relegated to the second division.
