This Monday morning, the Premier League will take another step in order to restart the Championship. As specified by the BBC, representatives of the 20 clubs of the English elite will meet this Monday morning. They will have to vote on the proposed medical and training protocols. In the event of a positive outcome (14 of the 20 PL boarders must vote for), the players will then be authorized to resume training in groups of five as of Tuesday. If such a scenario is confirmed, the clubs must however scrupulously respect the rules of physical and social distancing.
Discussions will also take place this Monday with the police about a possible resumption of the Premier League, suspended since March 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The English League, which will also receive a report from the Bundesliga (which resumed its rights this weekend) hopes to be able to resume on June 12 as the British government has opened the door to the return of professional football next month if sanitary conditions allow it. Many players, such as Danny Rose, Jack Wilshere, Sergio Agüero or even more recently Wayne Rooney, have expressed their concern about the resumption of football across the Channel.
