Liverpool are anxious to know when the Premier League will resume. Pending further clarification, the Reds decide to help the local community. In a statement, the Merseyside club said it is donating 25,000 protective masks through its foundation, the LFC Foundation, to help those who need it most.
“Liverpool FC has donated 25,000 professional protective masks to its official charity, the LFC Foundation, which will work with the Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organization that plans health services for the city, to distribute them for free to the local health system.
The Club Foundation and the CCG will work hand in hand to identify the people most in need. Liverpool is also selling masks on its official website, the profits of which will be donated to the Foundation, to support the city in the fight against the coronavirus.
