The current WBO African Heavyweight Champion Richard Nii Lartey Harrison
in an interview with www.ghanasportspage.com by Ebenezer PK Brinful (Noble) on Tuesday 23/6/2020 disclose his readiness to fight the current British professional boxer who is a two-time unified heavyweight champion, holder of the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles named Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, popularly known as Anthony Joshua (AJ) if he’s given the opportunity.
According to Richard Nii Lartey Harrison, he’s ready to fight all the champions in the heavy weight division most especially Anthony Joshua.
He also added that he’s not scared of the name Anthony Joshua because he is an African and a warrior for that matter. He was born to fight and no one can scare him with his name and therefore given the opportunity he’s going to give Anthony Joshua and the world the best boxing bout ever.
“I am ever ready to fight and hungry for success. If he sees himself as the best then he must fight the best in Africa. I’m not bragging or seeking for attention as many may assume but I believe that boxing is all about business and I’m ready for business. If I don’t call on him how would he ‘Anthony Joshua’ and boxing funs all over the world hear of me, he questioned”. Hence his call on him.
According to Richard Nii Lartey Harrison who is ranked in the number one heavy weight champion in Africa by the World Boxing Organisation (WBO), and holds a professional record of 16 fights, with 14 Wins (11 by KO), 2 Losses, 0 draws noted that he will be willing to fight champions in World Boxing Council, International Boxing Federation (IBF), and World Boxing Association (WBA).
