The Official Television Broadcast partner of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), StarTimes, on Monday, August 10, 2020 donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the staff of the GFA as a gesture directed at the fight against the spread of the coronavirus disease.
Among the PPEs presented were I.R thermometer guns and Five Thousand (5,000) pieces of face masks. The gesture, according to the GFA, is in line with the Chinese Television Broadcast company’s commitment to give back to society through its social responsibilities aimed at supporting their partner, the GFA in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
“This is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility to their partners in the fight against the Corona Virus pandemic and one of such steps is to support the staff of the GFA in their mandate to continue to serve the football community. The Pay TV Service Provider seeks to ensure that the GFA staff are well equipped against the virus in the discharge of their duties”, the FA explained.
The items were presented to the staff of the GFA by Mrs. Akorfa Banson, Head of Marketing accompanied by Mr. Eli Kondoh, Public Relations Officer of StarTimes.
General Secretary of the FA, Prosper Harrison Addo (Esq.) received the items on behalf of the staff and expressed gratitude to StarTimes for their kind gesture.
