Head coach of the Ghana national U-17 female team, the Black Maidens, Baba Nuhu, has invited 30 players for camping to begin preparations for their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.
The Black Maidens will take on their fellow U-17 side of Nigeria in the final qualifying round of the 2020 FIFA U-17 World Cup tournament to be staged in India next year.
The team will pitch camp at the Cape Coast sports stadium starting from Friday, August 14, 2020 to begin preparations for the big game. As part of the precautionary measures against the spread of the covid-19, the players, technical staff and all other essential service providers of the team will undergo a mandatory covid-19 test upon arrival in camp.
