The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has, at its 26th Ordinary Congress held on Tuesday, voted to approve the proposal by the Ad-hoc Compensation Committee, which will see member of the Executive Council and President of the GFA receive lucrative incentives and allowances.
For the purposes of reference, it is worth noting that the Ghana FA ad-hoc Compensation Committee, headed by the Managing Director of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frederick Moore, proposed allowances to be given to the Executive Council of the Ghana FA subject to Congress approval.
In the said proposal, the committee stated that the Ghana FA President would earn GH¢12,000 monthly allowance, whilst the Vice President pockets GH¢7,000.
The proposal also allocated a sum of GH¢4,000 monthly allowance to be paid to each of the eleven members of the Executive Council on monthly basis.
At its 26th Ordinary Congress today at Prampram, the above proposal was approved by majority vote decision, and the enlisted persons will be entitled to receive the said amounts. The GFA gladly announced the decision via its social media handle.
