The Pole is ahead of his club partner, German international goalkeeper Manuel Neuer (34), and Belgian Manchester City playmaker Kevin de Bruyne (29). Pernille Harder, a Danish striker now at Chelsea and an unfortunate C1 finalist with Wolfsburg, was voted UEFA Player of the Year
