Accra Hearts of Oak have announced a partnership and collaborative agreement with the club’s insurance providers StarLife Assurance to extend the sale of the club’s Umbro replica jerseys nationwide to make it easily accessible by all fans of the club.
The Phobians took to Twitter on Friday to announce that SatrLife Company Ltd, the club’s insurance providers, have agreed to avail their offices all over the country (Ghana) for the sale of the replica jerseys for the club. This is expected to help the club maximise the sales of the replica jerseys to meet its targets as may have been enshrined in the contract between Accra Hearts of Oak and the UK sports kits manufacturing company.
“grab your jersey nationwide….. our partner #starlife has agreed to make their offices available for the sale of our #umbro jersey”, the club announced in a tweet on Friday.
The 20 times Ghana Premier League (GPL) champions signed a kits sponsorship deal with Umbro in 2018 ahead of the 2018/2019 premier league season. The UK company provided the Phobians with the jerseys for the 2019/2020 football season, but, presently, with less than a month to the start of the 2020/2021 GPL season, there has been no sign of Umbro supplying the Phobians with new kits for the new season.
It is not clear whether Umbro will supply Accra Hearts of Oak new kits for the 2020/2021 football season, but the club is on course to maximise sales of the replica jerseys.
The intervention by the StarLife Company Ltd means all fans of Accra Hearts of Oak will have access to the replica jerseys of their darling club going into the the new football season without having to travel from one city to another just to buy one.
