Ghana will face winners of the last WAFU U17 Qualifying tournament Nigeria and Cote D’Ivoire in the Group stage of this year’s competition.
At a virtual Draw held in Abidjan on Tuesday morning, the Black Starlets were placed in Group B alongside their familiar foes.
Nigeria, who went on after winning the zonal competition to place fourth at the 2019 U-17 AFCON, were seeded for Tuesday’s live draw. The tournament which was earlier scheduled for November will now be staged between December 5-20, 2020.
Tournament hosts Benin who were also seeded will face Niger, Burkina Faso and Togo.
