Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have announced the signing of former CFR Cluj and Yeni Malatyaspor Midfielder Muniru Sulley on a two-year deal.
Asante Kotoko announced the arrival of Muniru on Monday, two days after the official closure of the domestic transfer window. The internal transfer window closed on the the 31st of October, after which clubs are unable to register any more players, especially players who are contracted to clubs.
The late announcement therefore indicates that the official completion of the deal was done before the closure of the window on Saturday.
Muniru becomes the ninth (9) player to join the Porcupine Warriors in the 2020/21 transfer window, and gets ready to join the group as the team prepares for the commencement of the Ghana Premier League on November 13.
Other players whose signing preceded Muniru’s signing include Mubarak Yusif, Emmanuel Kyeyekeh, Latif Anabilah, Razak Abalora, Evans Adomako Wiredu, Fabio Gama, Andrew Apau, Patrick Asmah.
