President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt E. S. Okraku has announced training attachment packages for top performing Coaches of the Ghana Premier League (GPL), the national Division One League and the Women’s Premier League.
He announced the stimulus package in his address at Thursday’s season Launch in Accra. According to him, his administration has secured attachment opportunities for Coaches who will excel in the 2020/2021 football season. This initiative is aimed at motivating the local coaches to perform competitively well in the domestic league as they compete for the limited tickets which will present them with opportunities to travel abroad for refresher courses.
“Coaches of the two top clubs at the end of the Premier League season will go on coaching attachment outside the shores of Ghana. Same will be applicable to the national Division One League, the top Coach in each of the three zones would also go on attachment outside the shores of Ghana. And for the Women’s Premier League, the top Coach in each of the two zones will also undertake an attachment to enhance their capacity outside the shores of Ghana”, he told the gathering as reported by the GFA Communication team.
All is set for the resumption of football, and the GPL is set to commence on Saturday, November 14, 2020 with two games including Aduana Stars vs Hearts of Oak to be televised on Match Day 1.
