24 games were played over four days as the Match Day 3 of the Cameroon 2021 Total Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers was concluded on Saturday (14 November 2020).
Initially scheduled last March, the games had to be postponed due to COVID-19 pandemic that halted football activities all over the globe. But finally, international duties were resumed, and excitement was there across the continent.
Over the 12 groups and 24 matches played, there were 18 wins for home sides, five draws and one away win recorded by Equatorial Guinea over Libya in Cairo. A total of 59 goals scored (2.46 goals per game), including eight in the thrilling 4-4 draw between Nigeria and Sierra Leone when the visitors came back from four down to snatch a memorable draw in Benin City.
