Ghana Premier League (GPL) giants Accra Hearts of Oak have announced the return of Serbian coach Kosta Papic as head coach of the club after playing two matches into the the 2020/2021 league season.
Reports have gone rife over the few weeks linking the Serbian to a return to the club which will see current caretaker, Edward Nii Odoom return to his previous position as head coach of the club’s Youth side, and these reports have now been confirmed following the official announcement of Papic by Hearts of Oak on Tuesday, December 1, 2020
Accra Hearts of Oak took to Twitter to confirm Papic’s return. “Coach Kosta Papic returns home. Welcome!!!”, Hearts of Oak wrote on Twitter.
Per the gatherings of ghanasportspage.com, coach Kosta Papic will be assisted by coach Asare Bediako while coach Odoom returns to the Auroras.
Coach Papic was the head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak for the 2008/2009 league season, and later left in the middle of the season on mutual grounds
