The Enugu Rangers goalie Nana Bonsu shares his thoughts on the winning struggles of the club in the Caf Champions League.
Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Nana Bonsu has offered words of advice to the current Abysmal performance in their ongoing Caf Champions League campaign.
The Porcupine Warriors players have come under criticism for their below performances, a situation which reared its terrible again on Wednesday when the Porcupine Warriors fell 1-0 to Al Hilal of Sudan in the 2nd Preliminary Round of the first leg game.
“The Kotoko team isn’t bad, they played very well but they lost the game due to inexperience players in the team and there was no luck on their side,” Nana Bonsu told ghanasportspage.com. Nana also commented that most of the clubs in Ghana now have experienced players in their team and its gesture, cited Accra Great Olympics Star Gladson Awako, Abdul Basit of Berekum Chelsea, Yaya Mohammed of Aduana Stars, Bonsu added.
Asante Kotoko can qualify to the group stage of the competition if they courage confidence, they can beat Al Hilal in Sudan, “Yes, they can Al Hilal in Sudan, I watched the game and I think Kotoko can qualify” he added.
“They did one of the best recruitment in the country [ahead of the season] but playing in the Champions League is different from playing in the local league. Most of the players lack the experience to play in Africa” Nana Bonsu told ghanasportspage.com
