Players and the technical team of national Division One League (DOL) zone two side Sekondi Hasaacas FC underwent covid-19 test on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
The test, which took place at the Hasaacas Park at Chapel Hill in Takoradi, saw both the male and female teams of Sekondi Hasaacas FC go through the mandatory test on Tuesday. This is in line with requirements of the Ghana Football Association to ensure that clubs set to participate in the 2020/2021 DOL campaign do so with strict adherence to the covid-19 protocols.
According to the Sekondi based side, the arrangements to adhere to the covid-19 protocols has forced alteration to their training schedules, shifting from the usual 2:30pm sessions to morning sessions only.
“This protocols have caused changes to our training regime which is currently being forced to happen on morning sessions instead of the traditional 2:30pm”, the club stated on their website.
The 2020/2021 DOL campaign has been scheduled to commence on Friday, January 8, 2021 with Sekondi Hasaacas traveling to face Star Madrid.
