Kudjoe Fianoo has been re-elected as the chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).
He defeated his contender Isaac Koomson in the fiercely contest race to retain the seat during the elections at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
Kudjoe Fianoo polled 71 votes as against Isaac Koomson’s 43 to retain the seat.
Mr. Fianoo is expected to step up his previous performance as he has been given another mandate to steer the affairs of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA).
The former Ashanti Gold Chief Executive Officer has vast experience in the administration of football to help the growth of the clubs as well as seeking their interests always for the growth of GHALCA.
In the other elections, Mr. Alex Ackumey got 47 votes and has surprisingly been dethroned by Ebusua Dwarfs’s John Ansah who also accumulated 65 votes to be the new GHALCA Vice Chairman.
Mr. Edmund Ackah, former Management member of Asante Kotoko topped the elections for the Premier League reps attaining massive 91 votes with Eugene Noble Noah of Dambort FC getting 58 to lead the division one reps.
Linda Ansong of Liberty Professionals also humbled Justice Boison with 90 votes to claim the Treasurer position.
