A former Asante Kotoko National Circles Chairman, Kwaku Amponsah has assured that his side will emerge as the winners against Aduana Stars.
The Porcupine Warriors will host the two times Ghana Premier League champions at the Accra Sports Stadium in the matchday 10 game.
Kotoko has been impressive under Johnson Smith after recording three wins, two draw and one defeat.
Despite Aduana Stars striker, Yahaya Mohammed saying they will beat Kotoko, Kwaku Amponsah says should the veteran striker score on Sunday, his side will score more goals to emerge as the winners.
“We [Asante Kotoko] will beat Aduana Stars tomorrow,” he told Kumasi based Wontumi Radio.
“Yahaya Mohammed is a good player and should he even score tomorrow, Asante Kotoko will emerge as the winner at the Accra Sports Stadium tomorrow.
“I believe in this team and this is the time we have to beat Aduana Stars and we are confident about that,” he added.
Asante Kotoko currently sit on the 3rd position on the league log with 16 points.
