Premier League side Medeama Sporting Club have announced the release of striker Abdul Basit on mutual grounds.
Abdul Basit, former U-20 forward joined the Tarkwa-based club in November, 2020 on a three-year deal from New Edubiase.
Basit returned to the Ghana Premier League in November last year after ending his stay at Turkish side Çanakkale Dardanel SK, but has not been a darling boy of Yellow and Mauves and has now terminated his stay with the club.
“We have mutually parted ways with striker Abdul Basit Adam”, Medeama announced on Twitter on Saturday.
Details of reasons behind the contract termination remains unknown as Medeama did not say anything further concerning the termination.
