Former Aduana Stars central defender Stephen Anokye Badu has joined Berekum Chelsea after a short stint in Kuwait.
The Biribes are busy on the transfer market to augment their squad following how unprepossessing their performances have been in the Ghana Premier League.
According to grapevine source within the club, Badu has signed a three-year deal to provide solidity at defence of the team.
The aggressive Central defender has returned from Kuwait after his ten-month contract with Tadamon SC expired.
Badu, before leaving Ghana, was one of the defenders in the league strikers find it difficult to outweigh.
He spent three years with the Fire Boys and was instrumental in winning of the Ghana Premier League title in 2017.
His acquisition will help Berekum Chelsea who is battling with relegation to survive following his vast experience in the Ghana Premier League.
Berekum Chelsea are on the 16th position on the league table with 10 points.
