International Allies are looking ‘colourless’ after the exit of their Nigerien talisman, Victorien Adebayor in the Ghana Premier League.
Adebayor hit the ground running in the Ghana Premier League with scintillating performances making the Eleven is to One side unplayable.
The Nigerien was able to give the Tema-based team double figures in all the seasons he played for the club, but left to 1st Division club HB Koge after the 2019/20 season.
Speaking about the exit of high-flying forward, Honest spokesman for Inter Allies, Frederick Gyan-Mante accepted the fact that his outfit has been affected by Adebayor’s exit.
“It is obvious we have been affected by the exit of Victorien Adebayor, but that is the philosophy of the club. If you have a player who scores more than half of your total goals in a season, you should know that when he leaves your team will be affected.”
He again stated that there was no way Inter Allies could have kept Adebayor for two or more years.
“There was no way we could have kept Adebayor for two or more years because we don’t have the financial muscles to keep such players.”
Allies are at the bottom of the League log with seven points out of possible thirty-six points.
