Asante Kotoko has been handed a major boost following the return of highly-rated defensive midfielder, Richard Senanu.
The intelligent midfielder has been out of Kotoko for close to two years due to a career-threatening injury he sustained in the 2018/19 season.
Senanu, 26, has been one of the amazing defensive midfielders in recent times for the Porcupines.
He built a solid partnership with Kwame Bonsu and Abdul Fataw Safiu during the days of current Black Stars gaffer, C. K. Ackonor.
He averages 3.5 tackles and 2.1 interceptions per 90 minutes while connecting with 50% of his team’s 78.1 pass attempts
He makes the Kotoko team tick and rarely gives the ball away- but doesn’t just pass sideways. He is capable of spraying lengthy passes, keeping the game simple, or executing the killer balls that really matter.
The midfield dynamite will start playing for Kotoko in the second round of the Ghana Premier League. He will be competing with the likes of Emmanuel Kayekeh, Emmanuel Sarkodie and Kwame Adom Frimpong.
