FC Barcelona outclassed Real Sociedad and left San Sebastián with a nice score of 6-1.

After the victories of Atlético de Madrid and Real Madrid over the weekend, FC Barcelona ended this 28th day of La Liga with a trip to Real Sociedad.

An imperative victory for the formation of Ronald Koeman, on a lawn where it has often struggled in recent years, but with an incredible series in La Liga having not lost a match since December.

For this nice duel, the Dutchman still relied on his system of three central defenders, with a Messi-Dembélé-Griezmann trio in front.

The number 10 became him the most capped player in the history of FC Barcelona. Opposite, Imanol Alguacil also took out the heavy artillery, with the Portu-Isak-Oyarzabal trio in front, but David Silva started on the bench.

The meeting started at a fairly intense pace, with two teams resolutely focused on the offensive. No really hot chances, but two formations which found themselves with a lot of manpower in the last opposing meters.

There was this distant attempt by Messi for example, easily captured by Remiro (11th). Gradually, Barça began to really hold the ball around the opponent’s area, with a very sought-after Messi.

But it was Ter Stegen who was to come out with the first real intervention of the game, with a nice parade in front of Isak (23rd). Lots of possession, but sterile enough for the Blaugranas, who faced a well-organized Real.

It was finally Griezmann who opened the scoring, on his old lawn. After a bar from Dest and a great opportunity from Dembélé,

Barça rolled over Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad reacted instantly, but Ter Stegen still responded with a strike from Isak (38th). Then, it was again Barça who was going to strike. Lionel Messi advanced in the last third of Basque ground, before shifting for Dest who transplanted in the axis.

The US side then beat Alex Remiro perfectly with a well-crossed strike with an angle however quite closed (0-2, 43rd). The Barcelona advantage was quite logical at the break, with very good Busquets to report.

The Basques themselves did not offer much, and the Catalan rearguard lived a rather calm evening. Upon returning from the locker room, the Catalans continued to attack, obviously not satisfied.

Dest, particularly offensive tonight, even offered a double. This time, it was Jordi Alba who overflowed on the left side, before centering back. Merquelanz tried to clear, but the right side countered, and the ball ended its race at the back of the net (0-3, 53rd).

It was not over, since Lionel Messi also wanted to join the party. The Argentine star took advantage of a good ball in the back of Sergio Busquets to go and beat the rival goalkeeper (0-4, 56th).

Ultra-domineering, Ronald Koeman’s men were walking, and Dembélé was also going about his goal. Left side, the French hooked and placed a beautiful cross strike, opposite post (0-5, 71st). Ander Barrenetxea closed the gap with superb individual action that ended with a shot in the top corner.

It does There were then more real opportunities, and Barça put the icing on the cake at the very end of the game. After a good series of combinations, Jordi Alba served Messi who placed a perfect flat foot in the box (1-6, 89th).
