The Black Stars B suffered a 2-1 defeat to Uzbekistan in an international friendly on Friday afternoon.
Ghana struggled to get a grip on the game in the early minutes of the clash, and was forced to defend deep as the White Wolves controlled affairs and attacked their defensive third.
Ibrahim Tanko’s home-based senior national side were lucky not to have gone down much earlier in the afternoon as the White Wolves were denied twice by Ghanaian goalkeeper Joseph Addo.
But there was no stopping them in the 13th minute when Otabek Shukurov connected with a teasing pass on the edge of the box to hit a decent strike past Joseph Addo.
Midfielder Fatawu Issahaku drove in a freekick to pull level for the Black Stars B in the 67th minute but Jaloliddin Masharipov scored four minutes later to restore the lead for the Asian side.
Fatawu could have grabbed a brace and pull even for Ghana in the 90th minute but was unlucky when his long drive went narrowly wide.
