Ghana Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor has named the Black Stars lineup for this afternoon’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game at Accra Sports Stadium.
The Black Stars clash with Sao Tome and Principe, knowing that they have already qualified for the tournament in Cameroon after last Thursday’s away draw with South Africa.
That notwithstanding, C.K Akonnor has named a strong squad with captain Andre Dede Ayew coming back to lead the team after missing the trip to South Africa.
There are in all three changes to the side that started in the last game as the Captain’s junior brother Jordan Ayew also takes up his position up front.
Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey completes the new arrivals as Asante Kotoko goalkeeper and centre back Razak Abalora and Abdul Ganiyu earn their second consecutive starts.
A win for Ghana would see the four-time African champions topping Group C as South Sudan also host South Africa for the remaining slot of the group
