Inter Allies have released a statement to announce the departure of their head coach Danijel Mujkanovic from the club.
The Serbian coach was appointed head coach of Inter Allies in January this year, but has not bee impressive with his performance in the domestic league. Danijel Mujkanovic was appointed to replace Henrik Lehm who was fired during the first round of the ongoing league season due to poor run of results.
However, a statement released by the club to announce his departure was coy on reasons that necessitated his departure. Inter Allies did not state poor performance as the reason for his departure, but rather attributed it to a call back to duty at Capelli Sports.
“Head of Coach of Inter Allies, Danijel Mujkanovic has been recalled by Capelli Sport after a short stint with the Club.
We thank Daniel Mujkanovic for his work with us and wish him the best in his new assignment”, Inter Allies statement in a publication on the club’s website.
With the Ghana Premier League second round set to start on Friday, April 2, Inter Allies have made a provision for a local based coach who has been with the club for a while, to take charge until a substantive coach is announced.
“Coach Felix Aboagye will take charge of the Team till a suitable replacement is appointed”, the statement announced.
Inter Allies are currently sitting 18th in the 18-team team league after the first round, fight for survival from relegation.
