Barreto names Brazilian forward Michael Vinicius and Felix Annan in Asante Kotoko 18-man squad to face Bechem United

The outstanding game between Asante Kotoko SC and Bechem United FC originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 24, 2021, will now be played on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.

The game which was rescheduled for Thursday, February 25, was postponed after a heavy downpour left areas of the pitch in an unplayable condition.

Asante Kotoko will travel to Obuasi today to continue preparation ahead of the tie. Head coach Mariano Barreto has named a strong 18-man squad to face the Hunters tomorrow at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium.

The team will travel without their new striker Sarfo Taylor again. Other key players, with the likes of Kwame Baah and Christopher Nettey have been replaced with General Captain Felix Annan and the new Brazilian Striker Michael Vinicius respectively.

Hopefully, Andy Kumi and Michael Vinicius spearhead the Porcupine Warriors up front tomorrow. Meanwhile, Emmanuel Sarkodie and Adom Frimpong will be absent from the team list to Obuasi. Asante Kotoko traveling squad are as follows;
