Defender of Berekum giants Berekum Chelsea Stephen Kwame Anokye Badu has scored his very first ever career goal on Sunday 18th April 2021.
The former Aduana Stars center-back just registered his name in the score sheet for Berekum Chelsea in Ghana Premier League matchday 19 against Cape Coast Abusua Dwarfs at the Berekum Golden City Park.
Anokye Badu who joined the Ghana premier league with Bono Ahafo United in the 2014/15 season has featured in over a hundred (100) games for clubs and country both local and international but has never hit the net not even with his massive and fantastic performance.
The aggressive central defender converted a very well calculated and nicely taken free-kick in the 58th minutes of the second half to equalized one goal by the visitors.
After that beautiful strike from the defender, former GPL goal scorer Kofi Wusu also added another one to seal it for the home folks which made Berekum Chelsea carry the day with a 2-1 victory over Abusua Dwarfs.
