Hearts of Oak left-back, Raddy Ovouka is set to face Karela United on matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League (GPL) after renewing his work permit.
The Congolese has missed Hearts’ last three matches due to an expired work permit with his appearance dating back to March 7, 2021.
The information available to Ghanasportspage.com indicates that the highly-rated full-back has had his working document renewed and thus will be in contention for a first start in the second round of the season.
The delay in the renewal of Ovouka’s work permit cost the job of Operations Manager, William-Alexander Coleman who was reportedly axed on Wednesday for not sorting the player’s situation.
Hearts of Oak will have to avoid defeat in Sunday’s showdown to keep their championship hopes alive.
Hence, Raddy Ovouka’s return will be key in achieving that at the famous Crosby Awuah Memorial Park.
