Asante Kotoko star midfielder Fabio Gama is confident the club will win the 2020/2021 Ghana premier league title.
Kotoko, who last won the title in 2014, returned to the top of the league following a 2-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea last Sunday.
The Kumasi-based team holds the best defence record with 8 goals conceded after 20 matches- Amassing 35 points in the process.
That solidarity at the back puts Kotoko in a good position to challenge for the league title.
And Fabio Gama who missed his side’s outing in the top of the league clash against Olympics due to suspension believes Kotoko has the team to win the league.
The Brazilian who has been impressive for his recent performances for the fabulous lads has a strong belief in his side’s chances this season.
“We have a great team to win the league. It all depends only on us and I believe we can do it”. He told Pure FM in Kumasi.
The porcupine warriors have the chance to walk the talk and extend their lead at the top of the table when they host fourth-placed Medeama at the Obuasi Len Clay stadium for matchday 21.
