The Ashantigold sporting club supporters Union also known as SHAFT on Friday 23, April made a donation to the club during last training session ahead of their Ghana premier league week 21 game against Bechem United.
The supporters led by acting chairman Kusi Boafo stormed the Ofori stadium during club’s last training and presented drinks and water to boost the moral of the playing body.
Captain Richard Agyemang who accepted the things on behalf of the players, thanked the fans for their kind gesture and like Olivia Twist, he also asked for more.
“I really want to thank our fans for the surprise visit and the gifts and I also wish to ask that you do not stop coming”, he said
The captain also promised the fans a good show on Sunday.
“I assure you that we will give you a good show come Sunday against Bechem United but all we need is your unbiased support”. He added.
The Obuasi-basad GPL side is hopeful of a victory to motivate their mission.
