Hearts of Oak Coach Samuel Boadu was left to rue missed chances after his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Karela United in the Ghana premier league.
The premier league giants needed a Kwadwo Obeng Junior’s headed goal in the 85th minute to cancel out Maxwell Boakye’s 70th minute strike at the Cosby Memorial Park at Ayinase.
Hearts created the chances after the two goals with Obeng Junior missing a golden opportunity to double Hearts lead in the 89th minute.
And Samuel Boadu bemoaned his side’s inability to take the three points when they had the chance to do so.
“We could have finished the game in the last few minutes with two chances but it’s unfortunate.”
Boadu who doubled as the assistant coach of the Black Satellite urged the Phobian fraternity to rally behind the team.
“For our Fans, I am asking that they keep supporting and praying for the team.” he pleased.
The draw puts Hearts third on the league log with two points adrift of Medeama as they play as guests to Dreams in their next league match.
