Asante Kotoko technical head Mariano Barreto has reposed confidence in the leadership skills of goalkeeper Felix Annan by renaming him as the Skipper of Ghana’s Fabulous Club.
Felix took over as the captain of Kotoko after Amos Frimpong left the club two seasons ago, though he has not been the number one in posts in the last few months after returning from injury. He lost his position to Kwame Baah and then Razak Abalora and has been fighting to reclaim his position.
At a meeting of the playing body and technical team members ,the Indian born Portuguese national Barreto confirmed he is not making drastic changes to the leadership team of the playing body .
He thus confirmed Emmanuel Gyamfi as the deputy skipper and Abdul Ismael Ganiu as the third skipper of the club.
Wahab Adams drops out of the leadership and replaced by Mudasiru Salifu, who recently recovered from an injury and is now a starter at Kotoko.
